Description
The Federation of European Specialty Food Ingredients Industries, which represents about 200 companies either directly or through member associations, will host in Brussels an annual meeting on sustainability in the food ingredients industries.

Dr Hilke Bos-Brouwers (Wageningen UR), Scientific Coordinator for FUSIONS and WP-leader for WP2 (Multi-stakeholder Platform) and WP6 (Management), will give a presentation on the following topic:
"EU-FUSIONS & REFRESH: innovation & policy to reduce food losses and waste in the food supply chain"
As Researcher and Project leader Sustainability, Hilke has over 10 years’ experience in sustainable innovation projects, targeting resource efficiency, entrepreneurship, CSR, food waste prevention, environmental policy and packaging. Other food waste related projects she was involved in previously include GreenCook, FOODBattle, and Integrated Valorisation of Biomass Resources.
The event will be attended by the ELC's members (around 20 delegates).
