Food Rescue is a joint project between Sainsbury’s and Google to help customers waste less food. Sainsbury's has partnered with Google to provide a tool to give help and recipe inspiration to stop wasting and start saving the food left in the kitchen. Food Rescue is designed to be used on your phone in your kitchen so you can add the ingredients you have in your fridge and cupboard as simply and easily as possible. As at 02/07/2014, 161 kg of food worth £659 had been saved.
