New four year EU project on food waste: “REFRESH” (Resource Efficient Food and dRink for the Entire Supply cHain)!
Dear FUSIONS member,
Today, we would like to draw your attention to the new four year EU project “REFRESH” (Resource Efficient Food and dRink for the Entire Supply cHain).
It strongly builds on the efforts ongoing within the FUSIONS project. REFRESH started in July 2015 and brings together 26 partners from 12 European countries and China. Together with stakeholders from industry, science, policy makers and civil society REFRESH will contribute towards the objectives of reducing food waste across Europe by 30% by 2025, reducing waste management costs, and maximizing the value from unavoidable food waste and packaging materials.
